It's a mess here :( I don't know if any of you caught the pics I posted in my blog (beg. of October I believe) of the fires we had just up the hills here. They were pretty bad and if memory is correct...it burned about 40,000 acres...it was HUGE!!

Well, yesterday we started the "windy" season. It's so fucking ugly here! The wind is blowing all the soot and ashes, you can't go outside without shit flying in your eyes, face, hair...you name it. Every window has to be shut in the house and still that black shit works it's way in here. You look out the windows and you see just black dust clouds.

Last night, someone left the bathroom window open, my floor has a layer of black soot across it, my tub is black...EVERYTHING is black!!!

We bought the kids quads for this weekend (going to Glamis). Well, we had to pick them up last night. Black soot flying all over...when we got home and I felt my face...it was all gritty and icky! They almost cancelled school yesterday cuz the kids can't play outside. I'm expecting a call because today is even worse than yesterday. My patio furniture is black now...not it's original white. I had my car outside for about an hour yesterday....can't even see out the fucking windows cuz it's covered in soot.

You name it....it's got soot! Wanted to FINALLY get live on cam today...but looks like I'll be cleaning every nook and cranny in that bathroom....PLUS...who knows how far else that soot flew into my house.

FUCKING people who can't read signs when entering the National Forest "NO CAMPFIRES!!!"
