What to do...What to do!!

Well, I'm sure most of you have heard that Globill went "belly up" on me! So, I just lost quite a few rebill members :( The only processor I have now is Hughes Billing...which I'm sure will follow suit soon. It all has to do with Visa International going after these companies BIG TIME!

Another fucked up thing....Acacia lawsuits! Basically, I *should* pull ALL my videoclips from my site, or risk having to purchase a license to have them there or get sued myself! This company buys expired patents, and just bought the rights to ALL STREAMING VIDEO! They are going after EVERYONE to either pay up or risk the consequences!

Is this all worth it for me? Not sure how much a license is, but I do know for me to accept Visa I need to pay them $750 and Mastercard is soon to follow suit and that will cost me around $1000! Sorry, but I'm NOT about to shell out $1700 just to keep this going. It's fun for me, I love taking nasty pics, love doing cam shows, love creating videoclips...however, not at $1750/year (PLUS hosting fees etc).

I have an opportunity to go with a BIG NAME site that is just starting out with an AVS program. This "BigName" is BIG and has a huge member base already and you members would have access to MANY MANY big name sites (members areas). My only hesitation is....all those "Big Name" sites will have access to MY members area also. You know me and showing my face to the world! I like it when I have a bit of control as to WHO see's my face.

Hence the thread title "What to do...What to do!"

Go with AVS??? Close my doors and let the "Big Boys" (Ifriends et al) deal with Acacia and Visa and Mastercard?
