Why Oh Why?

Whenever I get any sort of diet idea in my head, it always make me think of food on a constant basis!! Under normal circumstances (non diet mind thought), I can just about go until dinner without eating much or snacking around, but the moment I think in my head about going on some sort of diet...all I can think about is what to eat next. This is aggravating me till NO end!

Speaking of dieting, I'm just going to join the "Low Carb" fad. I'm watching my carb intake (as a 40gram Dr. Pepper is STARING me in the face everytime I open the fridge!!!). I was digging around trying to figure out exactly how many carbs you are allowed per day. One site says 20-40 grams, another site says 30-50 grams, while yet another says anything under 128 grams is okay! I guess I'd be safe if I stayed under 50 grams per day huh? Then, you have "good" carbs and "bad" carbs...UGH! I'll just stick with ANY carb as long as I'm under 50 grams...sheeesh! So far today, doing good I think! I forgot to see how many carbs (if any) coffee has! (with cream and sugar)...but if I don't count coffee, I'm up to 2 carbs for today! I bought these Adkins Advantage shakes (yuck!)....Similar to the Slim Fast stuff. You have one for breakfast and one for lunch...then a regular dinner (well, "low carb" dinner). Shit tastes NASTY...DO NOT let the "Chocolate Delight" name fool you! I just came from Sams Club and do you KNOW how HARD it was NOT to throw a box of cheese balls or a carrot cake into the cart!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!


***UPDATE***I found out that my coffe has around 15 grams of carbs...so make that 17 grams for today. Oh, I also opted for a bottle of water instead of that *hard to resist* can of Dr. Pepper!
