Games People Play!

Maybe someone reading this can give me a clue! Why is it that people think they need to be someone else, or prove their shit don't stink online? They pretend to be someone they're not. They pretend to have things they don't. Do they think that by making up a bunch of stuff you'll "like" them more? Wouldn't it be best to be yourself? Making up stories about your life to people on the internet is so stupid. Do I really care if you drive a big truck or a Hyundai? Do I really care if you live in one place, yet say you are in another? Don't get me wrong, it's not like I don't "care", it's just how would I know any different? When the truth does come out about something, that would just make you look even more foolish right?

I'd like to think that I am always ME. I never say stuff about me that either I haven't done or don't have. I don't see a point to making stuff up to try to make me look better. What's the purpose of that?

I guess I just need to let off some steam about someone! Pretending to be one person, then pretending to be another...and then possibly another! Did he really think I believed half the stuff he was telling me? What, I ask, was the purpose in all of that.

I'll stick to my "Honesty is the Best Policy" theory...thank you very much! This way NOTHING can come back and bite me in the ass!
