Shake, Rattle and Roll!

Hopefully yesterdays Earthquake was the one "big one" that will hold us off for another few years. I kept saying that it's been a while since we had something of significance, and that one is "due". This 5.6 one yesterday is hopefully the one. Just enough to release some pressure and we'll be good for another few years. Okay, so that's probably just MY wishful thinking. I was sitting on the couch in the living room, doing my usual Sunday morning crossword puzzle. It really felt like someone was kicking the couch. 3 good swift kicks. But when I heard the rumbling noise and crackling noise and my lamp swaying back and forth, I knew nobody was kicking. Let's just hope that some pressure has been released off the plates and there is no bigger one to follow. According to the experts, there is only a 20% chance that a bigger one will happen within the next 7 days.

I think though, that I would take an Earthquake any day over having to deal with Tornados, Hurricanes and such! At least you don't know when it's going to happen. With Tornados and Hurricanes, you see/hear them coming and have all that time to freak out! Earthquakes sneak up on you, you just freak when it's over...lol!

So, this week we'll be getting ready to go to the river for the weekend. School gets out on Thursday at 1pm, and we're hoping to be on the road by 1:15pm...lol! We'll be gone until Sunday night, cuz summer school starts on Monday right away. Gotta figure out when to get live on cam between NOW and Thursday!

Speaking of "Live on Cam", I'm really wondering what's going to happen come June 24th, when the new 18-2257 law comes into effect! I personally am not interested in posting all my real information on any sites, let alone my live chatroom! Will this put a total end to my live cam presence (even though it's pretty much dwindled down to about 1 hour every 2-3 weeks!!)? How will this effect Ifriends? I'm sure their asses are covered...stating that they are the "secondary producer" and all. Which puts ME as the "Primary producer", I've got a lot of reading to do to see how this will effect ME. As the primary producer, I'm supposed to be the custodian of records (which I have), BUT...the gov't. wants that all printed out for all to see. Uhmmmm....thanks, but NO THANKS!

What's a camgirl to do??? (Right now....read, read and read more I guess!!)
